Jayne Rolinson

Whilst painting or in our life in general we need to practice letting go, release, surrender and move forward…...we need to be bold and spontaneous!

We need to trust the intuitive process, listen to our inner voice, to open and notice what is coming from deep within. By practicing this, our lives are rich, deep and courageous.  I have learned to have acceptance for what is there and to allow myself to paint it. I am in constant awe of the magic, and am grateful and excited to paint this way, deepening my intuition and finding my artistic voice. I give myself permission to play, engage, open the door to possibilities, learn to discover, to express, push outside the boundaries and to be free of formalities and paint from the heart.  Letting go is where happy mistakes and accidents are allowed to occur, creating the basis for the amazing journey ahead. Each day, I am learning to silence my inner critic and give up control, to allow the creative self-flow and play!

Sometimes there is no reason…celebrate it and go with the flow. Painting brings me gratitude, beauty and a moment of joy……… time and time again!

Jayne states - ” “If you ever had a dream – then one day woke up and discovered you were living it – this is art to me. Your imagination goes wild, your creative juices over flow, your inspirations cannot be painted on canvas quickly enough. This addiction controls you then releases you into a mediative trance looking through a kaleidoscope full of shapes and colour. The creative journey begins and ends in a painting.”

Jayne hopes her art will create an emotion, ignite a memory, have a sense of belonging and above all bring a smile.

Artist Biography

Growing up in the Australian bush as a young child, left Jayne with lasting memories of places, colourful characters and nurtured a deep love and respect for nature’s beauty and harshness. Jayne did not tap into her true passion for painting, until her successful non-artistic career wound down so she could dedicate her time to raising her precious family.  This was a very pivotal and rewarding time in Jayne’s life for many reasons, one being when her hidden passion for art began to flourish.

Today, Jayne is a professional award winning artist with her artwork regularly requested for participation in art exhibitions. Jayne has created and sold original art work in all forms of media. Due to her creativity and use of her open minded approach to art ‘painting from the heart’; she has been able to combine different media to continually create stunning, unique pieces of art.

You could best describe Jayne’s art as energetic, bold, vibrant, deep history with a complexity of layers, defined and delicate.   Jayne has a unique way of painting over the surface of the canvas to create energy, texture and depth. Jayne paints intuitively allowing her images to evolve as revelations of her innermost thoughts and feelings are revealed on the canvas. Painting this way allows her artwork to become an ‘inspiration of the moment’.

In addition to creating art, it is very important to Jayne that she donates to various charities every year. It gives her great fulfilment in knowing that her donations are being appreciated and contributing to helping others.

Jayne’s great passion for combining nature, contemporary and abstract approach to art is evident. Jayne paints from her heart, with passion and determination that keeps her reaching for new heights. Public popularity and demand for Jayne’s work continues to rise.
